They may not have won the Wearside League Division One but the aim before the season was promotion. After looking favourably on their ground grading and season's work both The EBAC Northern League and The FA were able to offer that coveted spot in the Second Division of the Northern League.
United's officials were delighted to accept that invitation and now the planning begins for next season which will start on Saturday 30th July.
Part of the planning is an Open Trials Day to be held at The Washington Football Hub on Wednesday 1st June when there's an opportunity for players looking for a new Club to see if they are up to the challenge of playing for Chester-le-Street United.
This is a massive opportunity for players who have recently been released from academies or play at high level college programmes.
