Chester-le-Street United have agreed to release Jackson Ward who joins Northern Alliance First Division side Bedlington.
Jackson who was in The Park View Academy for three years and played on many occasions for Carlisle United Academy has struggled for fitness with a hamstring injury for over 12 months and is only just returning from injury.
Chairman Lewis Pendleton commented, "Jackson is a great lad and was a fantastic player for us before his injury. He and we feel he needs game time and to be playing matches so we've allowed him to move on."
"We wish him all the very best and thank him for all his efforts and time whilst he was with United and The Academy."
