Chester-le-Street United are on the road once again in Midweek for their sixth game in the Ebac Northern League Second Division. They face a trip to Perth Green CA, Inverness Road, Jarrow NE32 4AQ, home of Jarrow FC on Wednesday 17th August with kick-off scheduled for 7:30pm.
United will be looking to follow-up Saturday's 3 - 2 win at Brandon United that took their tally to seven points from five games. Jarrow meanwhile have three points from the four games they have played so far.
They started their campaign with a 1 - 1 home draw with Washington with Stephen Wilkinson the scorer. This was followed by two more drawn games, 2 - 2 with Birtley Town, Wilkinson netting again along with Channon North and 1 - 1 with Brandon with North being on the score sheet again.
Last Saturday they lost 2 - 0 at Easington Colliery who are United's visitor's to The Riverside on Saturday. A win at Jarrow would see United move comfortably into the top half of the Division but Jarrow will be determined to get their first win of the season at their fifth attempt.
