United Looking To Avenge Defeat And Go Top Of The Table

by Jeff King

It's 4th versus 6th tonight at the Ford Quarry Football Hub as Chester-le-Street take on Windscale in a vital Wearside League clash for both sides.

Back on the 15th September United made the long midweek trip to Egrement to take on a Windscale side that was in fine form. The resulting 3 - 2 win for the home side meant United had made a pointless journey!

Now the shoe's on the other foot as the Cumbrians have to make the long trip east on a Tuesday night. United will be looking to use home pitch advantage to their benefit and reverse the result from the first league encounter.

If they manage to record a third successive league win it would take Chester to the top of the League for the first time this season and confirm their good recent form.

Kick-off for tonight's game is at 7:45pm.
